Instead of grabbing a salty granola bar or fattening chips as an afternoon snack, try eating healthier, water-dense alternatives like apples or cucumbers. These all=natural snacks are loaded with nutrients and filling fiber. They also increase your water quotient and can satisfy a food cravings without adding a lot of calories.

If you're looking to lose some quick pounds, then put down the beer. Just one beer will pack about 150 calories onto your daily diet. That's over 1,000 more calories per week! It may not be exciting, but dropping the alcohol will slim your waistline.  Why?Well, less alcohol means less water retention.

The reason celebs don't eat bread and pasta in the days leading up to an awards show is that carb-laden foods are of course  tasty and filling, yet they also add bulk in the way of water retention. By signifigantly cutting back on carbohydrates you'll reduce the water your body is holding and conquer bloating


Burning the midnight oil can ruin your weight loss efforts. Research has found that less sleep affects the hormones that will  increase your appetite. Also,  Getting an extra hour of sleep each night can also help you avoid late-night snacking temptations,not to mention, you'll have more energy to exercise!
